Hello, My name is George C. Lutch and you’ve landed on my web site. I started my hobby of astronomy over 30 years ago and have enjoyed every minute on the journey. In the early days I did a combination of visual and photographic. Back then my camera was a 35mm film camera and guiding was done manually via a finderscope with cross hairs and manually adjusting the mount. Skip to today and I have a goto mount with a specialized camera and guiding is automated for the most part.
This site is for me to share my experiences and astrophotos with anyone interested in looking. I will have a section specifically for modding the Celestron CGX-L mount as well as the Edge HD 1100 and Hyperstar.
